Please note this correction- when you expose to a low temperature your blood vessels reduce their diameter and reduce the transferring blood volume to reduce the of heat which moves from your body to environment. When we expose to a higher temperature (ex. when you expose to sun light) your external blood vessels increase their diameter and increase the transferring blood volume to transfer the heat;inside the body to external environment. From this process, human body maintain their heat in a constant value with respect to the environmental temperature
