Dengue roga lakshana.Dengue is the most significant mosquito-borne disease other than malaria affecting humans, with around 40 - 50 million cases of dengue fever and several hundred thousand cases of dengue hemorrhage fever (DHF - those cases complicated with bleeding) diagnosed annually globally according to WHO reports. In the first five months of this year in Sri Lanka more than 6,500 patients were treated for dengue fever and 80 succumbed to the disease.
